Imagine a company that adds something new every time a customer asks for it
. That's basicaly how, we, a company called The Service Team, became Country Junction,"World's Largest General Store".
We started out installing insulation. Then our customers began asking us for hardware, so we added hardware and became a home center. The customers started asking us for lawn and garden items, so we added a barn and began to sell lawn and garden products. Then we added small gift, and home decor items.
We changed our name because our customers were telling us that we had everything under the sun for their homes; we added furniture and bigger home accessories.
Country Junction was destroyed by fire on Oct 3, 2006.
The new store was rebuilt Feb. 2010.
The biggest "hit" of the store seems to be the "Street Corner Candy" store where we make our own fudge. Much of the ambiance of the old store are present in this new facility. We haven't lost the charm of the old store. It was our hightest priority to give our customers the same warm feeling thay so enjoyed before.
The streets are once again lined with gifts, flowers,home accents, and foods. "Treasure Island" is filled with candles, tiffany lamps, religious, soaps, pallet buys, and nautical.
We make our own fudge, and baked goods. Our chicken noodle soup is the best.
Sorrenti's Wine Cellar offers wine tasting, and bar supplies.
The chicken coop houses everything country and of course big dinosaurs for the kid are found on tbe streets.
Automated Lifestyles installed a complete home theater for everyones' pleasure.
The Service Team, home installation experts, are housed in the store. Their unique showroom includes all the departments offices and products installed such as gutter, roofing, insulation, siding, garages, garages doors, decks, fencing and flooring, all surrounded with wildlife, yes, wildlife.
The paint and hardware department is also included. Of course, you can shop Ashley Furniture.
With the utilization of the whole property now, the "experience" of Country Junction will be even more grand. "Animal Country" now houses all Pets and pet supplies.
A farmers market is present in the summer months. The Barn Door restaurant and ice cream parlor is already a hit.
Patio and Lawn and Garden is located the the "For Seasons" tent.
Santa's Workshop is lined with Christmas decorations and gifts.
The full-size Free Petting Farm which houses the ducks, goats, chickens, and alpacas is our corner stone. The kids love feeding the animals and playing in the sand and play yard.
We are an "Ashley Furniture Store" featuring beautiful and affordable furniture, upholstery, and home accents. You'll find everything you need to furnish and decorate your home, from carpet to framed art.
Country Junction, Lehighton, is home to a wide variety of special events, most notably Free Easter Egg Hunts and the Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival, the Pocono's Largest Pumpkn Festival.
